How important are Pre-reqs ?

<p>I am planing to apply UCSD Econ major for Fall 2012. However, I got two Cs on Pre-reqs, one math,one econ and my overall GPA is 3.41 by now. What’s my chance to get into?</p>

<p>I suggest raising your GPA to 3.5 so you can sign TAG w/ UCSD. I don’t know much about UCSD and economics but if it’s like the other schools, it’s probably a pretty impacted major which means you will most likely get rejected or waitlisted if you don’t TAG in.</p>
