I’ve taken Math 2 and scored 790 and my ACT is a 34 composite, both scores I assume are competitive for the school of engineering. I was planning on applying as for CSE and I saw that both science and math subjects are recommended. I’m hesitant to take a science subject because I feel pretty unprepared for all of the possible science subject tests. Would it be a deal breaker or very damaging to my chances if I did not take a science subject test?

It’s not a deal breaker, but if you’re on the borderline, it’s something that they’ll look at in case it helps distance you from other candidates that are similar to you.
