I’m Asian, should I try to add something else? What would be good? I also don’t have any major awards unless I win some medals at Academic Decathlon and qualify for National Merit and AP Scholar. I’m a sophomore.</p>

<p>Yale has no formal community service requirement, and racking up hours of community service is not the key to admission. Yale is looking for applicant who have contributed to the broader community, engaged beyond the classroom in some meaningful way. There are many ways to do this without doing formal community service.</p>
