My d had planned on going to eagle day but with flights and business of household will be quite inconvenient. She has visited the school twice and plans to go to an oriientation in June. My question is: What will she be missing by not going to eagle day? roomate opportunities???

She will miss absolutely nothing. Eagle Day is basically an opportunity to hear from professors about different majors/classes and learn more about the school in general. There’s nothing important that goes on and if she’s visited the school twice, there’s really no need to go to Eagle Day. Hope this helps!

If she has already made her decision, she won’t be missing anything. I went last year because I was still undecided, and after going I chose BC. You will learn everything important at orientation.

She won’t miss anything. The best part of eagle day is walking around the campus and the free food :). I did learn some things about the school, but nothing that would change my mind about attending. Not worth stressing over

As a student at BC, I can tell you there’s little you’ll learn at Admitted Eagles Day that you won’t get on the website/at orientation.

If you’ve already visited the school twice and committed there isn’t really a need to go. I and many other students go to figure out which school is the best fit for us, if she’s committed she should get pumped for orientation!

My son did not attend Eagles Day since he had already decided to attend BC. He definitely did not miss ANYTHING by not going. I will say that Orientation at BC was awesome for him! He did not know a single person at or going to BC and ended up making good friends with two guys in his orientation group that he is rooming with this year (soph.)! BC makes orientation really fun for the incoming freshmen and very informative for the parents. We made a special trip in July instead of waiting for the orientation session right before school starts. It was definitely worth it.
