Obviously GPA is basically the #1 consideration for most (if not all) universities, but is it even possible to get into Columbia without a stellar GPA? I was thinking I might apply for funsies despite my 3.75 weighted, but if there’s basically no chance then I won’t waste the application fee, haha. So does anyone who know of anyone who’s gotten in without a 4.0? (I’m just talking GPA, by the way, the other parts of my application are pretty much first-tier school application acceptable).
Thanks for any input!

Columbia examines their applications holistically, so if everything else on your application is stellar and you write wonderful and genuine essays, you should have as good of a shot as everyone else. Good luck.

According to my school’s Naviance, Columbia accepted someone with a 3.32 GPA so this person probably got a C + average in all honors/AP or a B + average in all regulars or a mix. Naviance doesn’t tell you other information besides test scores (1920 was the lowest SAT in case you were wondering), but as long as the other parts of your application is stellar, you may have a chance. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the input! I think I may as well.
