How important is grades of courses not related to the major?

I am double majoring in EE and Physics with a 3.9+ cumulative GPA. However this semester I am doing pretty badly in my art history class. I will probably get a B+ in this class. Will this hurt my transcript in the future, when I apply to graduate schools?

A B+ is not a bad grade to begin with. And no, grades outside your major will not hurt you.

As long as you do not get D or F grades, or allow them to pull your transcript GPA below what employers tend to look for (many want to see 3.0 or higher; some have other thresholds). But that does not seem to be the case with a B+ grade while otherwise having a 3.9 GPA.
