Not that I have always believed this, but I don’t think there is only one right college. There are more colleges than religions, so why would I believe there is certainly one college right for me and the others wrong? I am only worried about being surrounded by stupid people. It isn’t that big of a deal but it is my only concern. I think college will give me an opportunity to be around a few people like me, not just talk to them on the internet haha. I think if I go to a more selective college, or a large college, I won’t have too much trouble finding people like me. Right now I’m thinking of OSU or NYU and I am wondering if I should be more selective. I don’t even have the desire to apply to schools that haven’t already contacted me. I could apply to very selective LACs or the Ivies or public Ivies but should I bother?

There will be droves of “stupid people” around you, wherever you decide to head off to for college.

If you want to encounter them with as little frequency as possible, aim for HYPSM.

I think you’re right. It’s important to find a place where you’ll be happy and successful, and your ambitions will be supported and encouraged. For most students more than one place will ultimately fit the bill.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
