People often judge others’ possibilities of getting into colleges base on their SAT scores. So, I am wondering how exactly are the scores weighted in the application process? Can anyone who actually get into colleges talk about it.

Depends on the university.

Yeah, like Zero said it really depends. Some schools only go by CR/M, some all three. To some schools a 2100 is basically a garuntee of admission, to some it’s like a blackmark on their application. The only thing that is universal is that SAT scores ARE weighted heavily, but a “good” or “bad” score is dependent on where you’re applying.
