<p>I know from my experience with law school admissions that their statement of purpose is worth nothing, all they care about is the numbers. Is it the same way for masters of accounting programs or is the statement of purpose important. If it is important can you give me an idea on just how important it is?</p>
<p>I really want to be an accountant and I have no problem working the hours or crunching numbers but my GMAT score is probably going to be 20 points below the average of my target schools (taking it in 3 weeks) so I want to know will a good essay make up for that deficiency?</p>
