How is credit requirements of NUs different from those of LACs?

I’m going to major in Biology in either in NUs like Emory or LACs like Reed or Carleton. I like to study exclusively classes related to biology, chemistry, and little bit math and physics, but it’s not possible in the US. So, I’m considering in which type of college stated above will I be able to take more classes related to my major? My guess is NUs, though.

You need to look up the core requirements at each school. There’s no way to generalize. Some LACs have NO core requirements, others have a huge core. Same with “NUs” (I assume you mean public/research universities? I’ve never heard of “NUs”)

Thanks for correcting my misconception that there was a general tendency in some way. NUs should be a wrong abbreviation, sorry.
