<p>I was wondering how difficult (or how easy) the freshman college writing course is? I’ve been reading reviews about the text book used, particularly Ways of Reading by Bartholomae, and I heard that the reading was fairly difficult. What is your input on it?</p>
<p>I think it depends on your professor. The readings that I was assigned to from the book were not hard, and I remember my professor not liking Ways of Reading a lot so she gave us more readings from different books instead. She was very very engaging too, so that’s a plus</p>
<p>I have friends who had to read Foucault’s Panopticism and all of them complained about college writing and thought that the class was horrible.</p>
