How is Oxford University viewed by Grad School?

<p>I am contemplating going to Oxford University to do Politics, Philosophy, and Economics for undergraduate. I am American and want to come back to the US for grad/professional school. </p>

<p>How is Oxford viewed by top US grad schools? Is it viewed as comparable to HYPSM?</p>

<p>I don’t know. I used to know a guy who did his undergrad at Oxford (an American) and said that people were not as impressed by it as he expected.</p>
