How is Rocket Review for CR?

I really liked the math section A LOT, but I haven’t heard the best things for CR either. I’m open to any strategies because I need all the help that I can get for CR. I have Barron’s 2400, Barron’s 2007-2008, PR, RR, and blue book, have read through them(except RR’s CR), but yet I still couldn’t get a good score even though I finished all of the practice tests in the blue book with good scores.

Barrons 2400 is good.
Btw A. Kumar I read your other thread, and just because you get a low score doesn’t mean you didn’t know your material. Perphaps you know everything you had to, but just let the pressure get to you. Alot of it has to do with how you perform on the big day.

So maybe you might want to try taking additional practice tests under serious conditions, and comfort yourself to the pressure.

Today has been sort of hard in a way. People at my public high school, well, sort of expected higher, and I felt like I should have just lied and said that I forgot to look at my scores or something. My scores were 560CR, 680M, and 670W. I remember looking at 5 AM this morning hoping to see 700, and I did look very quickly, but the 560 just made no sense. I knew that I either did really good or really bad on CR, but I know that I’ve prepped a lot. I’ve read through all these books(except RR CR). I sort of messed up though with the 8 collegeboard tests. I did time myself, but it was with my home clock, not a stop watch. I didn’t go on a chair or anything with a desk, just the comfort of my bed and timed myself like that. Now I have no practice tests left except the Princeton Review.

I was following the passage with the questions before, but now I need to totally throw that out of the window. I’m going to try and read the passage as a whole and then go through the line references to see if it helps out. Seriously though if I had just gotten even a 620, I would have gotten a 1300, which is very re-assuring. Honestly though it’s hard for me to deal with it because a 600 is very much average(at my school that is), at least in my mind, and getting a 560 is definitely disappointing. On math, I know that I can get the 700 if I just stay away from the careless mistakes. There are like 3-4 questions that I didn’t know at all how to do on the SAT maybe, and then the other 4-5 I got wrong because of careless mistakes. Sorry, just had to get this all out. I’m not necessarily competing at school, but I get very good grades(I’m like #1 at my public high school(out of like hundreds of students in my grade)), and I understood that good grades don’t equal good SAT scores. Well I got 2 weeks, let’s see what I can do. At least I got a 11 on the essay, that was some good news.
