<p>I want to major in environmental/marine science. I need one more school to apply to and these both have environmental science. I really like SUNY Oneonta from what I’ve seen on the website and it’s a good size. I was told SUNY Albany was better than Oneonta but I don’t really like it from what I’ve seen on the website and it looked like the Oneonta standards were harder so I’m getting really confused.</p>
<p>I do not think Albany is better than Oneonta–just bigger. Oneonta’s reputation has been improving steadily, its USNews ranking gets better each year and its becoming more and more selective.</p>
<p>I’ve seen both campuses and, IMO, Oneonta’s much, much nicer. I think Albany is ugly.</p>
<p>The city of Oneonta is smaller than the city of Albany, so there is probably more to do, more shopping, etc. in Albany. It also has an airport and Amtrak train service.</p>
