How is the house selling season going?

The Los Altos Hills house was only $100 million. The buyer apparently isn’t going to live there, just use it for entertaining.

[Estimated $100 Million Home Sale Places Spotlight on Real Estate in Los Altos Hills - Los Altos, CA Patch](http://losaltos.patch.com/articles/estimated-100-million-home-sale-places-spotlight-on-real-estate-in-los-altos-hills)

How does one get on the guest list? :)

^^You need to speak Russian![ One of the Russian gazzilionanaires bought it.]

^^^vball, the news says “Estimated”, they really did not know the exact amount and it is NOT recorded either. My info was leaked from First America, and I intentionally muddled the exact amount.

BTW, the seller is a Chinese.

Ya gavaru parusski (translation- I speak Russian)

jym, my D is currently learning Russian from her BF.

And for the rest of you, there is a town pathway that can look beside that house (A requirement for building it). However, there are ARMED guards posted at various corners of the estate. just FYI…

Wow, congrats, eso!! I confess my russki yazeek is very rusty. Probably couldn’t do more than curse, order a vodka and toast to the bartender’s (or armed guards’) good health (“na zdraovyeh”) at this point.

Well, geez, jym, what else do you need to say during a cold Russian winter? That pretty much covers it.

“Nichevo” (that means “nothing”) :)

Jym: Which grandparent spoke Russian?

None. I studied it in High School. Our teacher won the national teacher of the year award a year or so after we graduated. He was incredible. Great guy.

jym, next time you come out to Calif we can go by the mansion and try out your Russki!

Da!!!

DS was out there this weekend!

He brought some glorious Indian summer weather with him!

Artloversplus…I don’t know that area…

Pretty nice house…a little more than I can afford…and I don’t need a place quite that big. Lol

menlo-
He sent a gorgeous photo from Angel Island State Park

oops, mistype above-- to your health! Na zdarovyeh! (Hope that attempt at translation sorta works)

Well, the oil tank test had to be postponed because… the tank was too full!! They have to get some sort of pressure reading and the company just filled it a few weeks ago. Well, IMO, if its full then there must be no leaks, right?? :D

Here’s a weird coincidence. The prospective buyers (husband/wife) have the same initials as my brother and I. That is karma…

Karma, definitely karma!!! I just knocked on every leg of my kitchen table for you, jym (the tabletop is granite, so no help from knocking on it).

jym, by the time you sell the house, all the doors and table legs will be knocked out aound the usa… and much karma will be left on the table…:)
