Currently I am practicing for the sat, I’ve been taking a class. In my class an interesting question came up. Are some questions worth more that others? I know that the book that the class uses has difficulty levels on the questions and more points are given towards the harder questions. So I was wondering, is the real sat scored in a similar manner, are harder questions or the short answers valued more than the rest?
No. Each question within a particular section carries the same weight.
So it doesn’t matter if i get 2 short responses wrong rather than 2 multiple choices?
In the same section? nope.
But you can’t compare a math question with a verbal-- there are so many more verbals.
Of course, the point is to get all those questions right.
