@Javacash01 i have been requested for it… but has anyone confirmed with you that this a sign that we may be accepted?
i’m so sorry to hear that! @Oracion
man… UCI should just tell us if we’re being rejected already… i need to prepare myself lol
I hope it’s like 2012 and they just accept everybody
@blah97blah that’s ok
Let’s wait for irvine
They didnt tell me directly, but nobody got accepted so far and they said this year they recieved 40000+ applicants but only 3500 spots blablabla… So ugh, probably means no more spaces
Fingers crossed. Looks like UCSC didn’t accept anyone last year too for freshmen, but UCI took like 80% off their list. Still hoping!
Ugh, don’t want to say that but, I hate you UCSC lol
@Oracion UCI received 71 thousand applicants this year
@blah97blah If that is true, then there isn’t too much of an increase compared to the last two years.
thank you for finding out the financial aid verification worksheet, i wonder how you happened to check it out. I have googled ‘financial aid verification worksheet’, it’s usually used for colleges to verify their admitted students, so i agree with you, we have a better chance.
I know someone who got in uci last year, they were asked to do housing servey which offered appartments beside dorms; then most people got in from the waitlist. housing servey doesn’t mean there is too many acceptances.
too javacash01
I didn’t get the financial things, but i’m eligible for it. Does that mean I’m also rejected by UCI?? lol
@Oracion i hope not bc I didn’t get it either…
Well, UCSC just sent me an email and said nobody got accepted this year , there were too many students SIRed
Does this mean Irvine will do the same thing as they are also taking so long to work on waitlists?
@Oracion did you link your FAFSA to the IRS? Because my friend who has already committed to UCI received the same requests ((for the tax transcript and the dependent household thing)) because his parents messed up on linking the IRS account to his FAFSA.
So I think we still have hope!!!
@lifeishard1 I think I did everything correct on the Fafsa application
I hope this is not the sign that we got rejected already
Just as a general question, can you accept more than one waitlist offer, like if u got waitlisted at davis and got in and change your SIR to Davis but then you get accepted to Irvine, can you change it to Irvine?
I was requested for FAFSA application but due date was set 03/02/2015. may be it is purely random check and nothing to do with waitlist
@JayFree Yes!!! You can accept more than one waitlist offer if you get into both. ^^
