So I’m thinking of possibly dropping 114 for a writing seminar. I am a computer science student and I want to do this because I’m afraid that maybe 104 would be too late for me to catch up on, especially since they’re already on Taylor Series. Currently my schedule is:

Drawing I
CIS 110
Math 104 , just transferred in today at Ghrist and had a heart attack upon seeing the homework
Econ 001
CIS 160

Will dropping math this semester be a big mistake and/or kill me? Thanks!

College math/science classes aren’t like high school classes in that they start right away and most of the time there will be no review. It is pretty much guaranteed from my experience the first day you go into a math or science class you will receive a problem set due the next week, so it’s good to keep this in mind when course shopping.

Jesus, I intended to take MATH 104 for my “Formal Reasoning” requirement but dropped it thinking about taking PPE 110 next semester. You make me feel so glad, blorgit! MATH 104homeworks sound like a nightmare to me. Thanks for sharing. lol
