So recently, my church youth members and I visited a convalescent home and performed some body worship and sang some praise songs that involved giving high-fives and hugs to the elderly.

During an intermission, we individually went to an elderly person and prayed for them. Now, I am not a guy that cries at all… in public at least. And as I started to pray for this grandma that I have never met before, tears started to flood out of my eyes like a faucet and I could not utter any words.

This experience had changed me, it changed the way I looked at people, and it changed the way I appreciate people. And also, I have never before even thought of how tough it is for the people that are stuck in convalescent homes. This experience has opened my eyes and I look at everything in a different positive light now.

So would this be a good topic for an essay? Any advice on how I can capitalize with this?
