How is your CV formatted?

Just curious…

Mine has
-Name (centered)
-Month and year (centered)
-Contact info (phone, email, summer address, school address)
-Educational info (degree, majors, minors, anticipated dates of completion)
-Research experience (title, supervisor, dates, brief description of duties)
-Theses (titles, advisors, brief description, dates of proposal defense, dates of final defense [if applicable])
-Posters and presentations
-Publications (when I have something to put here, but we’re submitting some stuff this summer, so… crosses fingers)
-Honors and awards
-Teaching experience (role, class title, semesters, taught/TA’d, brief description of duties)
-Clinical and child experience

Skip the month and year at the top. It is assumed CVs are current.

Really? Every CV I’ve seen in my field has it, both at the top and as a header on each page.

Then it must be a field-specific convention. Carry on.
