How large is the waitlist?

<p>Does anyone know how large the waitlist is for acceptance? or the percentage of people accepted from the waitlist each year?</p>

<p>i read that their are 1200 people on the waitlist. however that number seems really large considering berkeleys is only 200</p>

<p>Yea they say they review every app on the waitlist again and decide to to accept. I’m wondering how many spots will be available to people on the waitlist? And once you’ve accepted an offer from another school and get into Davis from the waitlist, would you be behind or miss out on some things that everyone else who got in regularly won’t? Like would you still get to choose a dorm or do you just get whatever is left over and things like that</p>

<p>If you’re accepted later, you’ll still be able to choose a dorm and such–they don’t collect that info until the summer when (mostly) everyone’s sure of which college they’re attending. The only thing you miss out on is probably Admit Day… my friends who went got a coupon for a discount on UCD gear and clothing. I was slightly envious. :stuck_out_tongue: They have some in the back of the school planners if you decide to buy one though, haha.</p>

Also how much does a planner cost? lol</p>

<p>I think so. The planners cost $5, I believe. They’re pretty handy if you’re accustomed to using one… important dates specific to UC Davis are included in it.</p>

<p>They’ll probably have them for sale on the last day of orientation (along with other services/products). The bookstore also carries them, but I think they’re priced a little higher there than at orientation.</p>
