How lenient is Stanford's admission office?

<p>Hey,
I didn’t pick up my teachers’ letters of rec before winter break and now I won’t have access to them until january 3. I plan on using UPS next-day delivery, but do you guys know if stanford will accept them? I can’t call thier admissions office now because they’re on their break too :(</p>
