How likely to get out of Berkeley with CS in four years?

<p>I’d be entering as a freshman having completed 12 AP and some classes at the CC.
APs: Calc AB/BC, Spanish, Japanese, Physics B, Chem, Bio, Psych, Gov, APUSH, Comp
Sci. At the CC - Eng 100, CS OO Programming. Will these APs and CC courses help me
get out in four years? Or do the extra years tend to result from problems of getting the higher
level courses for your major? Any other APs I could perhaps self-study to make sure this
wraps up in four years? Also would be interested for the same questions regarding
UCSD, UCLA, Davis. (Not sure where I’ll be accepted.) Thank you.</p>

<p>Needing extra semesters tends to be due to student-caused issues like changing major late, not taking enough units per semester, not paying attention to needed prerequisite sequences, not taking a needed course because it is offered at 8am, failing a course, etc… Neither L&S CS nor EECS is difficult to schedule for eight semester graduation, since both allow substantial choice in upper division course work.</p>

<p>And also, even if you don’t do well one semester, it is possible to make a comeback, even without summer classes, provided that you do decently the rest of the time.</p>
