How long can a post be before nobody wants to read it?

<p>Sometimes when I’m reading a funny thread, I chuckle at the short witty remarks made by most of the posters and then there’s always those 2 or 3 people who ruin the mood by posting those 20-line posts that I will never bother reading.</p>

<p>How long can a post be before you deem it annoying and ignore it altogether?</p>

<p>For me, a post is never too long if it is on the topic that I am following.</p>

<p>Usually when a person starts forming legit paragraphs, I know what he’s going to say is most likely long-winded, overly-opinionated, and boring as hell.</p>
