How long does it take for a college to receive a recommendation?

<p>Hey. I submitted my application to Purdue on the first of November. My counselor still had not sent her recommendation by then, but she sent it(via the Common App invite) a few days after I had already sent my app. It has been more than two weeks, but Purdue still hasn’t received the recommendation. I’m guessing it is because she sent her recommendation after I had already sent my app.
What do I do? Do I contact Common Application or Purdue? Do I need to ask my counselor to send in another recommendation?</p>

<p>If she sent it through common app they’ll get it when they redownload your app and it goes through their system. Your counselor doesn’t need to send another one. Just call the school If it doesnt appear within the week. For me, when my counselor submitted her rec letter after I had already submitted my app, the school received a week later. </p>
