So I went to myawards in myadmissions and it said i have to go to a federal site and fill out some forms for the loans that i received in my financial aid package. However, after filling them out online and submitting them and receiving a receipt and everything, myawards does not reflect that I have finished it. It still says I must do it. Does anyone know how long it takes for myawards to get all the information and update itself? I’m worried since it’s all due by the 15th =[

I know your fear well, unfortunately. I went to the school yesterday and said it will show in late july. As long as you did the online conference and did the app it should be fine. The process made me fear graduate school though. Grad loans seem strict :/

I have not turned in my FAFSA verification yet. Is this why I cannot accept certain scholarships?

@iProcrastinate, you really do procrastinate. FAFSA verification forms are due tomorrow! I’m pretty sure that’s why you are not able to accept certain things on your awards.

What loan forms are you talking about? I don’t see any on my award and I have no requirements needed to fulfill or anything…? Does everyone need to fill one out if we’re taking out a stafford loan? :/

@ holyschmidt:

Next to the loans/awards/aid that you’ve been offered, there should be a button that says “requirements needed” or something of the sort. You’ll click on that and it’ll help you navigate through everything you need. I’d get choppin’ though, because they are due today.

OK thanks, found it
