<p>How long does it take usually to see something posted to your My MIT account? My son’s english teacher told him she was mailing his rec 3 weeks ago, and it hasn’t posted yet. Do I tell him to panic now or wait a bit longer to panic?</p>

<p>Neither, tell him not to panic at all. Panic is never a good idea. 
This early in the “season”, it should only take a couple days for something to be annotated in MyMIT, once received. Later in the “season” it could take a couple <em>weeks</em> (see molliebatmit’s answer in this thread). Is there a chance the teacher did not mail it yet? If the teacher really mailed it 3 weeks ago and it’s not in MyMIT now, it may have been lost in the mail.</p>
