How long is too long time spent in a dorm?

If a roommate at a college dorm is home all the time. I understand it gets annoying after a while for the other roommate.

You’re paying for your dorm room, you have the right to be there as long as you wish. Yes, it’s “annoying,” but that’s one of the costs of choosing to be in a dorm instead of having your own place, unfortunately. I had to deal with a roommate who was “always there” last year and since I got sick of the lack of privacy, I ended up moving off campus this year. That being said, you shouldn’t neglect time spent with other people or class time just to be in your dorm, that’s a little excessive.

For the times it’d bother someone, I mean, they’re there just as much as the roommate. Everyone who lives there has the right to be there as long as they desire.

Some people are introverted and don’t like to go out very often. They’re paying the same price that you are to live in the dorm, and they have the right to be there. It can be annoying, but that’s one of the drawbacks to dorming.

I am asking because I am this introvert you speak of.

What are you really asking?

Do you live in a dorm now? You say you are applying as a transfer student. Where do you live now. You should be able to answer your question.
