<p>I’m not sure if the U still uses the same application, but when I filled it out it was pretty easy so I’m not sure an essay is even necessary.</p>

<p>I wrote a paragraph explaining each interest and that seemed reasonable to me. Last year there were no essays or teacher recommendations required and I assume the application is still the same. I’m not sure if your in state or OOS or what your stats are, but I would suggest turning in the application ASAP as the U has rolling admissions. I remember last year someone on here got waitlisted with a 31 or 32 ACT, so the sooner the better.</p>
<p>if i remember correctly i just wrote a brief description (a paragraph or so) about what i really wanted to accomplish in college. n ya u better have some good stats if ur just now applying. which college are you applying to?</p>
