I took 3 pre ap classes my freshman and sophomore years. My junior year I took 4 ap and took 3 ap tests. I am now in my senior year and am currently in orchestra, nhs, student council, the debate club, and I have a job. I’m actively involved in each of these activities. For this reason, I want to take less ap classes this year. I am currently enrolled in ap English, ap European history, and ap macroeconomics. I want to drop European history because I’m drowning in work and sleeping 5 hours at night. Could dropping this class hurt my chances of getting into selective classes or obtaining scholarships?
