Just out of curiosity, how many applicants to schools like PE and PA are from Texas? I’ve browsed through several threads and found a lot of people from California and the New England area. Would applying from an ‘underrepresented state’ benefit me?
i’m not sure about PA and PEA but i know a handful of ppl from texas applying to l’ville. best of luck!

Before even tackling the fallacy that geographic diversity is a major hook for top schools, there is no school in the multiverse where TX is an underrepresented state
I don’t know about PE and PA since I don’t have access to their student database.
But for reference, Deerfield has 13 students who have a TX address on their profile.
School enrollment is 648.
For PEA, without disclosing the actual numbers, let’s just say TX parents are about 40% of CA parents, less than 25% of MA parents, and about 3% of total count.
Not sure where you ever got an idea that TX is underrepresented. Anywhere.
During an interview with Loomis, the interviewer had said they didn’t have a lot of students applying from Texas, so I guess I misunderstood with other schools
