Narcissa:
Do you go to a private school, and/or do they screen students to take the AP Class?

^ I’ve wondered that also. I know at my school they don’t screen students. Your teacher just has to sign you up for it and even if the teacher reccommends that you not take the AP class it is ultimately the students choice (this means we have a lot of ding bats in AP classes at my school).

That’s exactly how it is at mine. If you fulfill the prerequisites, anyone can enroll in the class and then MUST take the AP Test. I’m a little torn on whether I like that or not. I know it is a good experience for people to get, but I also get tired of being in AP Chemistry with morons who might need to repeat middle school, and AP Lit. with people who sometimes misspell hot (not actually kidding on that).

My school’s pathetic…we have freaking two.
