How many asians apply?

I know a lot of asians apply and that puts them (actually us) at a huge disadvantage, but exactly how much harder is it to get into a combined degree program being an asian (more specifically, indian).

how about asian chinese?
or do all asians have a bad chance.

well i think that if you are a female chinese/indian applicant there are alot of you out there so you are def. at a disadvantage

^ Are you sure it’s just female asians? I’m almost certain that there’s just as many asian males who apply.

well it seems like there are always more girls in these progrms than guys

i’m an indian male so that might make me a little better off, but being asian puts a big disadvantage on me

Basically, due to the myraid applicants of Asian background…chances SUCK

what about being a white male? Does that help, hurt or not make a big difference?

White males have a better chance than Asian males, but it’s not like WOW 3 times the chance or something you know?

Now if you were a Hispanic or Af-Am male…

yea chances suck, but most of the applicants are asian, so the good ones get in one way or another

don’t worry about who else applies, stop evaluating your chances and Just APPLY!

Prepare good applications and if ur sincere you’ll get in…believe me.
