How many clubs is alot to join?

I’m thinking joining three and I am a bio sci major. I chose to limit myself to three since they’re SO many clubs to choose from. Is that too much?

a lot of it depends on how much you are going to commit, timewise, to each club. 3 clubs that consistantly take 5-6 hours a week… is already a part time job.

I think three is a good number to start off. Obviously there are going to be times where you can’t fully commit to a certain club or something but it won’t hurt you. Just make sure that you can juggle your classes along with the club commitments. If the clubs are stressing you out, then you know you should drop one or two. Stick with the three for now and see what happens.

id like to add on to thiis question, big burrito what clubs have you joined

and what are some good clubs for a bio sci major to join

Well, the clubs I’m joining are irrevalent to my major. Theres alot of clubs for bio sci, such as pre-med, pre-optometry… but I plan not going to any med school. I’m thinking of joining circleK, archery club and Japanese drumming club. Its just I havent paid my dues yet.

Definitely join Circle K. Or at least go to a few events and see if you like it. I went to two this weekend and it was a lot of fun volunteering and meeting the current members. Try out the clubs and see what the schedules are going to be like and see which ones you can definitely commit to. It’s very managable to do all three while keeping your grades up.
