My schedule is:
College Algebra M-F 8:00-8:50
Public Speaking MWF 9:00-9:50
U.S. History MWF 10:00-10:50
Fundamentals of Psychology W 5:00-7:45
English Composition TR 2:00-3:15

I want to join the psychology club (meets Thursdays at 12:30) and the Baptist Collegiate Ministries.

I will not be getting a job this year, but if I can find one for 10 hours a week I hope to get it.

Will this be too much?

I think that schedule seems pretty typical, but I might be crazy.

Can you stop posting your schedule, please?

I would consider two clubs to be a light load, but I’m also pretty crazy. It all depends on you.

Seems fairly light to me, to others it may be treacherous. For most it would probably be normal or average.

I’m taking 16 credits, and working at a job that is 40+ hours per week in the athletic dept. The first semester I did it was pretty rough, but ever since it’s been cake once I got the time management down.

i think it average or below average quite frankly!

It also depends on how much time you want to devote to something like the Baptist Collegiate Ministries. I know a lot of people very involved in the student church I go to, which I respect very much…they’ve made it their life and do something involving it every day. This is the same from many of the other activities I’m involved, a service organization for Detroit, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and a biweekly newspaper. There are also many lukewarm members or clubs or simply your typical club members.
I would try out a few activities your first semester and decide what you really want to involve yourself in. You don’t want to miss out on some awesome opportunities, but you don’t want to tie yourself down just yet to something because you don’t know how much time you’ll have or how important something like having personal time will be to you.
