<p>How many did Harvard Waitlist? I was at a program for Duke and so many ppl said they got waitlisted at harvard. Any figures on this?</p>

<p>The number is somewhat relevant… you’re more likely to get in if there’s 100 waitlists than 1,000. Assuming they accept anyone off of it, of course.</p>

<p>Not necessarily, Those taken off the WL, more likely than not, will mirror the demographics/ec interests of those whose slots they are filling.</p>

<p>What about significant accomplishments in second half of senior year? Would a good update have as much of an impact as filling the right demographic?</p>
