<p>-close friends (not awkward at all because chance encounters don’t happen- you know where this person will be if there’s any chance you’re within a 50 mile radius): 4
-good friends (not awkward chance encounters and you won’t avoid this person if you spy them out and they’re not like clearly busy or something): 20
-friends (awkward chance encounters): ?</p>

<p>Forgive me if I am wrong, but by asking how many friends you SHOULD have, this leads me to assume you don’t have many. You should try talking to your classmates, cause school work is always a convo starter.</p>

<p>At college, I have 2 friends that are on the absolute inner orbit if that makes sense. Then I have 5 more who are pretty close friends, but not near as close as the first two.</p>
