At my school, 2 ppl (including me) r going

Just me. I’m special :)

Two (including me)

4 accepted and I’m the only one:)

4 including me :D

me… indeed, i’m the only one from my state.

Me…I’m the only one from my country…heheh…
(I don’t think anyone else would have applied from here anyway)

I’m the only one from my school. Seven people were accepted from my state and three of us are going.

im the first person ever to head to duke from my high school… opened in 1963

me myself and… me!

21… www.tjhsst.edu/~mgrau/college

confidential, you have an awesome school

confidential - I go to your school…the number is at least 25.

I concur, ur school is insane

3 got accepted in my school. 2 are going and I am not.

confidential, can you look at previous years in that too?

There should be a link to last year’s stats at the bottom of the page confidential linked to. I don’t know if it was done in any earlier years.

The stats on that site, however, aren’t “official.” They’re self-reported and a lot of people don’t do it (202 on this year’s site, out of a class of 420).

The same for me–only my school opened in 1931! Ack. No one from my school seems to like Duke. But that Thomas Jefferson High School in Virginia is insane!

well of course TJ is insane… it combines the best from fairfax county which has over 1million people in it…

im glad to see duke accepts people from new schools! congrats fuzzy!

Hmm? Thanks for the congrats :), but my school is far from new. If you meant that it’s “new” in the sense that it’s the first time someone’s been accepted from my school, that’s not the case. Of the few who apply, a fraction get accepted–they just choose not to go; most head off to Berkeley or UCLA (~35 this year at Cal, at least 65 going to LA). I feel so alone!
