How Many Have Finished Fin. Aid Stuff?

I’m a little paranoid, in that neither of my parents have their 2006 income tax returns finished, even though I have missed/am missing most of the priority deadlines. I’ve submitted FAFSA/CSS already, but every school wants signed copies of W-2/Income tax forms, and I simply don’t have them yet.

Is this happening to anyone else, and do I need to be especially concerned?

I know exactly how you feel…I have a trust so the taxes on that have to be done b4 I can file my own taxes, I filed the fafsa but have to file corrections, I didnt fill out the CSS because you cant correct. Still waiting…I’ve missed all the priority deadlines :-(

Haha the priority date for mine was March 1.

Its March 14th and my parents don’t even know i applied!

I have no idea what you just said

Its been 3 yrs. since I have applied for financial aid. (I was out of the country), I’m worried because my parents have not filed their taxes due to a loss of employment, and the deadline (priority) for Loyola Chicago was March 1st. Am I out of luck, will I not recieve any money or grants?

most likely you will not be considered for scholarships b/c those are reserved for priority students, and you won’t get the few lower intererst loans either. You’ll still get loans and work study probably…maybe some grants if your low-income.
