Online AP classes - how many is too many (1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, etc.). Will colleges start judging you or seeing you as “bad” in any sense for doing this?

Some people are forced to take online classes because they are in a location where they are unable to take the courses necessary to graduate from high school. It depends on what your situation is, because in the case I just described, you won’t be judged. So I wouldn’t think that there would be a limit on online courses, because you shouldn’t be judged on that.

It’ll be viewed as a positive. Colleges love to see people going out on their own and learning. It shows leadership and initiative. It also demonstrates your ability to follow through with a goal.

In general more than 4 AP’s is bad for your health.

Pssh you do realize that the CC average is like 6 APs for senior year right? And I agree, more than 4 is bad for your social life. haha.

Too many? On CC there is no such thing lol

haha, I’d have to agree with most of these people. Colleges may find it impressive, but many competitive ones will not. Mostly all of their students have a ton of AP courses and so it really doesn’t even matter to them. I would say that if your school DOES NOT offer AP courses, than 3-4 online AP courses is enough. I think it is much more beneficial to be taking an actual class with an actual instructor. The CC average is probably around 5-6, so this might not be the best spot to ask (although it might not even be that high). I, personally, am taking 6 AP classes at my school (the max that can fit). The thing is though, that if you are taking online courses, won’t it be on top of your normal schoolwork? I don’t think that would be a good idea. So in general, I would take only 3-4 max. Good Luck!
