Hi everyone, at my school 5 kids are all applying for 9th grade to the second high school. I just wanted to know how many you kids the school would or can accept from the same school.
One student is a legacy, but has ok SSAT scores
3 are 90-percentiles on SSAT.
(Me) an URM with great extracurriculars.
We all are hoping to get in, but are not sure how many the school will take seeing that we all are currently at the same middle school.
Any thoughts?
There is no magic formula, and no min/max per school.
Did you apply to just one school or do you have apps in at others? There are no hard and fast rules, but a school is unlikely to accept all applicants from the same school.
This is fairly normal. There are at least 6-7 kids applying from my school, and we are applying to many of the same schools. I’m curious to see how it will turn out on M10.
Yea we all are applying to a good amount of other schools
