<p>I have to send in the consuelor and core teacher rec. But I also want to send in ones from my principal and mayor. Will Michigan look down upon this as “too many”?</p>

<p>Two extras that are meaningful are not likely to be frowned upon. Many more than that might look a little desperate. Go for eager, not desperate : )</p>
<p>PS Adcoms at UMich tell story of a kid who submitted 17 LOR. Advise against that kind of excess.</p>
<p>Assuming you are a decent student, those extra letters wont help you at all.</p>
<p>You need to make them think that you could care less if they accepted you. Just get it from your teacher and counselor. you dont want to look desperate</p>
