How many MCATs can I register for

I’m planning to take the MCAT in late April of this year, but I want to prepare to take another one in case the first does not go well. However, the registration page doesn’t seem to let me register for more than one test at a time. Is there any way I can do this, or do I have to wait until my first test is over in order to register for another one???

Thanks.

You can only be registered for one at a time. You will need to wait until after you take it to register again.
That being said, I recall recently reading somewhere that you shouldn’t “plan” on a second MCAT. If you aren’t confident enough about how prepared you will be for the first one, don’t take it. Reschedule to a later one where you are sure you will be prepared.

The short answer is no.

What may be worse is that, after you take a test, you may not always be able to register for the next one (or even the next two) – no seats available by then, depending on your location.

It is always advised to take the MCAT test once. If you think you may need to take two, you need to take your first MCAT much earlier, well before the application cycle is about to start.
