I don’t think MIT tracks each tube, but does anyone have any (serious) estimate as to how many admits remain? I know it’s futile questioning and I’ll find out tomorrow, but I just want to go to bed with a sliver of hope.

I’m sorry… I know it’s frustrating, but seriously. The answer would be “no, no one has such an estimate”.

You all know there are 377 admit tubes that went out for the EA round. Some of the recipients of those tubes have posted here. The vast majority have not. There is no delivery tracking on the tubes so Admissions/Ben has no way to know how many recipients have them now and how many do not. I think after the events of the day, it’s not reasonable to ask something hypothetical like this from Ben And Company.

Breathe. Take a walk. Breathe some more. If you are deferred, there will be hundreds more tubes going out in March in the RD round. Good luck to all.
