I feel like this is a great way for college to improve there stats because I know I would not have applied i it would have costed me another 60 bucks. Don’t get me wrong its a really cool school its just that applications are so expensive that you really need to be selective with which ones you apply to.

i applied because it was free (:

that and there was no additional supplement so since I had to fill out BUs online anyway it was as easy as giving my teachers rec envelopes that said AU on them :)

I applied cuz it was free and rqrd no supp. Was accepted but likely won’t attend and so won’t help their yield.

My D applied because she was interested in AU and specific departments there. She actually visited before learning about the free application. It was a nice extra bonus. Only two of her seven apps were free if done online, and both were private schools. What I don’t understand is why all three of our state U’s she applied to had completely different apps, requirements, and procedures, and yet all three apps were online…and not inexpensive!

I applied online just because it’s convenient. No rushing out to the post office to get that January 15 postmark, and applyin’ online gave me assurance that AU got my application. The fact that there was no application fee was a nice bonus.

Same with my daughter–the app. fee waiver was a nice little perk.

I applied b/c of social environment but was quiet satisfied with no supplements for application.
