<p>how many people am I going to be living with in the dorms? i want to get a dorm with my friends from high school. also, do you usually get assigned a dorm with the person you asked to live with? can i ask to be in the same dorm as more than 1 of my friends? btw, i’m talking about the housing unit, not the entire building.</p>
<p>Why room with a high school friend? People often grow apart their freshman year of college, and it’s a much easier transition if the people you’re growing away from don’t have their clothes all over your floor.</p>
<p>i just don’t wanna be stuck with a bad roommate. at the end of the day, i don’t want to sleep in the same room with a stranger. plus i’m going to be bringing my macbook pro, hdtv, ps3 and other expensive stuff to my dorm room. i need someone i can trust.</p>

<p>As a freshman, you can only request a roommate. You can’t request suitemates. If you choose to live in Granville, you can choose whoever you want to live with in your room and in your suite. After freshman year, you can choose to live in the same suite with your friends.</p>
