How many recs and SAT IIs

<p>Do most schools need 2 SAT IIs and 2 teacher recs? I’ve only taken one SAT II and I have one teacher rec. I’m also getting recs from my guidance counselor and three from places I have volunteered at. Do I still need another rec? Could I possibly get away with taking only one SAT II (if it matters I took the ACT plus writing as well)?</p>

<p>Most schools will have their requirements listed on their websites, but I think two of both is pretty safe for higher tier schools. (just my limited expirience of research)</p>

<li><p>Do your homework and go to the college websites to get information from the source. It should take you all of an hour tops and you’ll know that the info is correct.</p></li>
<li><p>Most colleges want LORs from your GC and two teachers. Do NOT send three supplemental LORs from volunteer positions; send one max, if it’s excellent.</p></li>
