<p>I hear my friends talking about only needing two recs, but certain schools allow me to have more. Are more recs better than less? Also, my current recs aren’t too spectacular and its the holiday season so I don’t think asking a teacher to write a rec in time for the Jan 1 deadline is possible. What should I do CC?</p>
<p>Follow the directions on the college websites. At most send 1 supplemental LOR beyond what is required and ONLY if it BOTH shows a different aspect of you than your others AND is very strong.</p>
