<p>Ok, so I am interested in attending either UC Berkeley or Carnegie Mellon. I am currently a junior in high school. Unfortunately, I have not taken andy SAT IIs. How many would you recommend I take? Is two sufficient, or do I need three. </p>

<p>Two is sufficient for most but a few schools. Nevertheless, it is not just the number of test, you better to take subject tests that are relevant to your field of study. In addition, you should take subject tests that you have the material fresh in your mind. For instance, if you are taking AP chemistry this semester, it would be the best to take the chemistry subject test also.</p>
