Hello! I’m confused by the “Number of past SAT scores you wish to report” question in the Common App. I want to report a reading score from one date and a math score from another. But I took the SAT four total times. Do I need to list 4 for the total number of tests, even if I’m just sending scores from two dates? I don’t want to seem dishonest, but at the same time I don’t want to call attention to taking it a bunch of times if that isn’t required. The word “wish” makes it sound like a choice?! Advice?
If the school allows self-reporting and score choice, you only have to list the two SAT tests that contain your highest EBRW and Math scores. The common app self-reporting section looks like this:
If the school requires official scores, you can choose to send only the two tests needed to show the highest scores.
